The court requires an in person hearing to discuss the pending motions and what remains to be done on the case. Discovery was to be completed but has been stayed by attempts at settlement. By 11/14/23 parties are to file a status report informing the Court what defendants remain in the case, the amount of money frozen in the account associated with each of the remaining defendants, whether each of those defendants is represented by counsel; what discovery remains to be completed; how long the discovery will take to complete; pending motions; and anticipated motions. Motion to quash subpoena 119 is granted. The court at this point has no jurisdiction over DreBest since it is not a party to the case. It is a foreign entity and Rule 45 does not apply to it. The Court's 3/29/23 Order 76 indicates that counsel for DreBest agreed to accept service on behalf of DreBest. But the transcript from that date and does not reflect that agreement by counsel or the principal from DreBest who attended that hearing. 77.
