Feb. 7, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiffs' motion for leave to file under seal 3 is denied as moot. Plaintiffs sought to seal their original Schedule A 2 that includes the names of 103 defendants. However, after filing that motion, Plaintiffs filed an unsealed Amended Complaint 12 identifying a single defendant and its owners or operators, as well as an unsealed Schedule A 13 listing only that defendant online marketplace. As such, it appears that Plaintiffs no longer need to prevent the remaining defendant from learning about these proceedings. The Clerk is directed, forthwith, to unseal the original Schedule A 2. Emailed notice.

21

Feb. 7, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiffs' motion for expedited discovery 14 is granted in part. Schedule A 13 identifies only one third-party provider, wish.com. However, the proposed order seeks information from multiple other third-party providers without explaining the connection with each named defendant in the Amended Complaint 12. Plaintiffs may renew their motion as to the other third-party providers and include those details. Enter Order Authorizing Expedited Discovery. Emailed notice.

22

Feb. 7, 2024

ORDER AUTHORIZING EXPEDITED DISCOVERY Signed by the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt on 2/7/2024. Emailed notice.

23

Feb. 7, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Plaintiffs' motion for electronic service 15 is denied without prejudice. At this point, Plaintiffs have not alleged specific details about the sole identified defendant to justify the need for alternative service. Plaintiffs may refile the motion, if appropriate, after information about Defendant's identity is obtained through expedited discovery. Emailed notice.

24

March 1, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: The parties are ordered to file a Joint Initial Status Report for New Case by 3/19/24. A template for the report can be found on Judge Hunt's webpage under "Initial Status Conference and Status Report." A telephonic initial status hearing is set for 3/26/24, at 9:45 AM. Attorneys/Parties should appear for the hearing by calling the Toll-Free Number: 877-336-1828, Access Code: 4082461. Members of the public and media may call in to listen to the hearing. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting court proceedings. Emailed notice.

26

March 20, 2024

MINUTE entry before the Honorable LaShonda A. Hunt: Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1) and the Plaintiff's Notice of Dismissal 25, this action is being dismissed without prejudice. All pending motions and deadlines are terminated as moot. Civil case terminated. Emailed notice.
